Hyperion can deliver the following workshops by videoconference. This will save time, travel costs and the workshops can be delivered directly to your office. The workshops are designed as 2-hour workshops (with a 15 minute break after the first hour). Handouts will be provided before the workshops begin. The workshops can be scheduled at a time to suit research managers and advisors. Workshop 3: How to Administer Framework 7 Projects This workshop provides the coordinator with guidelines on how to administer Framework 7 projects. It is based on the presenters involvement in over 60 Framework projects and his role as coordinator in 16 of these projects. Duration: 2 hours Cost: 1000 euro
Workshop 4: The Role of the Framework 7 Advisor This workshop outlines the role of the Framework 7 Advisor and highlights the key services they should provide to researchers at the different phases of a project. Duration: 2 Hours Cost 1000 euro
Workshop 5: How to Lobby for Framework 7 The preparation of Framework 7 first involved discussing the relevant EU policies, then designing the programme and finally launching the calls for proposals. It is important to understand the complete process and to know how the research community can participate at policy, programme and project level. In the USA this is termed 'lobbying'. In Europe it is better to think of it as 'briefing'. This workshop provides an overview of the complete process and identifies the different opportunities research organisations have to 'lobby'. Workshop 6: How to Write a Plan for Dissemination and Use of Results In Framework 6 Contracts and in Framework 7 Grant Agreements the partners are expected to produce a 'Plan for Dissemination and Use' of the results. The aim of this document is to highlight the results from the research and to identify how the results will be used. This workshop describes how to identify the relevant research results, the different routes for dissemination and use and how to prepare the plan. Duration: 2 Hours Cost 1000 euro
